It’s the non stop partying, laughter, excitement and fun that keeps fans of Ibiza holidays coming back year after year. The island of Ibiza in the Mediterranean Sea has become the undisputed party capital of the world over the last 30 or so years. Each year, millions of sun and fun seekers flock there to bask in the sun on the beach all day and party the night away in some of the world’s best clubs.
There are so many clubs to enjoy on a holiday in Ibiza, you might find that you don’t have enough time for them all. Some of the most famous are Space (famous for its after parties), Privelege (the world’s biggest nightclub), Pacha (a trendy franchise club with a worldwide brand of its own), and Es Paradis (for its world famous water parties). Add to this Ibiza’s multitude of smaller clubs, bars and nightspots, and it’s not difficult to see why the island is considered the party capital of the world.
When you’re on holiday in Ibiza, be prepared for a somewhat crazy pace of life come nighttime. The days are somewhat more relaxed. Most people spend their time basking in the sun on the beach or taking a stroll around Ibiza Town. As you’d expect, it is after the sun has set that Ibiza really comes alive, so with this in mind, Ibiza might not be a wise choice if you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing holiday.
Ibiza accommodation ranges from cheap hotels to mid-range self catering apartments to 5* hotels. However, most young people on holiday in Ibiza tend to choose low cost apartments, as they spend most of their time out on the town and in clubs. Couples can find some beautiful hotels a little out of the main town, which is ideal if you are looking for somewhere to stay closer to the action but yet you can retreat to should you want to.
If you’re heading to Ibiza to make the most of the party scene you should be aware that every club except Pacha closes after September. When the party season starts again, they reopen their doors. So if you have booked yourselves on to one of the Ibiza Holidays that falls outside of June to September you need to be prepared for closed down clubs and very few tourists. It’s also worth being aware that outside of these months the weather tends to be somewhat erratic, so you might find that you don’t need your suntan lotion.
So for anyone looking to party away their summer, a holiday in Ibiza might be just the ticket. Prices can be extortionate, so if you want entry into some of Ibiza’s world famous clubs you’ll need to take plenty of spending money.
