There are several spectacular private camp sites that we use for our tents in the North of the Serengeti. We strongly recommend camping in this area although given the distance from Arusha, it is obvious that to make camping economically viable there must be several nights camping in the overall trip to justify the long journey for the extra vehicle and camp crew.
