Tarangire Sopa Lodge

The lodge is located on the eastern side of the Tarangire River opposite Tarangire Hill. This is a typical Sopa lodge. Opened in 1995, it has large glitzy spaces, light wood high-beamed ceilings. It is big and not very intimate but as always with Sopa it is comfortable and well run with good staff and quality service.

The rooms themselves are everything you would expect from a large quality Hotel chain, 75 suites with wall to wall carpeting, a private lounge with mini-bar, a bedroom with two queen size beds, en-suite bathroom en-suite bathroom with shaver sockets and a hair dryer, and a private verandah which offers views over the baobab studded landscape.
